Coverage in Greece the one real advantage
Yesim is the only one of our five that lists all three Greek operators: Cosmote, Vodafone and Nova. In practice the phone camps on whichever responds strongest, which matters most exactly where networks diverge:

On paper this is the best coverage story on the site. We rank Saily above it anyway because coverage claims from a brand that seeded fake reviews deserve a discount, and Saily's record needs none.
The caveat in full
As of August 31, 2026, Trustpilot displays no score for Yesim: the rating is suspended for a guidelines breach, and the platform notes it removed a number of fake reviews. The reviews that remain skew positive but include recurring complaints about undisclosed throttling on "unlimited" plans and slow support.
Our read: the product works, the plans are real, and the network list is the widest of our five. But a company that seeded fake reviews forfeited the benefit of the doubt, so we say it plainly instead of hiding the row. Buy Yesim for the price, with eyes open, and avoid their unlimited plans specifically: the fair-use cap is unpublished, and unpublished caps from a trust-deficit brand is a combination we do not recommend. For unlimited, Saily's published 5GB/day is the grown-up option.
Buying and activating four minutes, honestly
- Buy on the website or app while on home wifi. Yesim tracks both, so use whichever you prefer; the app makes later top-ups easier.
- Install the eSIM from the app prompt or emailed QR code, then toggle the line off until you land in Greece.
- On arrival: line on, data roaming on for the Yesim line only. It picks the strongest of Cosmote/Vodafone/Nova itself.

Is Yesim legit?
The service is real and delivers working eSIMs on all three Greek networks. The fake-review episode is about marketing integrity, not about whether the product connects. We treat those as separate questions and answer both above.
Why is Yesim so cheap?
Aggressive wholesale pricing and thinner margins at large bundle sizes. The 20GB and 30GB plans are loss-leaders by market standards, which is precisely where we recommend them.
Should I buy Yesim unlimited?
No. The daily cap is not published, and travelers report throttling they did not expect. Buy Yesim for fixed GB, buy unlimited from a provider that prints its cap.
Which network will my phone actually use?
Whichever of Cosmote, Vodafone or Nova answers strongest where you stand; the switch is automatic. You can pin one manually in network settings, and on remote islands pinning Cosmote is worth trying.
Does the Yesim eSIM work for a second trip?
Yes. The installed profile is rechargeable: buy a new plan onto it next summer, skip the reinstall. That, plus the 90-day tracking window on our links, makes it a decent keep-it-installed option.
Can I hotspot on Yesim?
On fixed-GB plans, yes: tethering spends your allowance like any other data. On their unlimited plans, hotspot behavior falls under the unpublished fair-use policy, one more reason we point unlimited buyers elsewhere.
